The Youth Peace Week is a series of events that has been organized since 2019, bringing together key actors in the field and offering young people the opportunity to learn about and engage with peace-related themes. The week is based on the principles set out in UN Security Council Resolution 2250 on Youth, Peace and Security, which recognizes that young people play a crucial role in building and sustaining peace in our societies: sustainable peace cannot be achieved without youth participation.
In 2026, the week will take place 14.9.–21.9.2026.
