The call for working group applications for the year 2019 is group-specific and will be opened when a new group is founded. Participating in team work will give you an outlook for the activities in the UN Youth on national and international level. If you are an active young person, you are welcome to come along!

Working groups for 2020:
Group for sustainable consumption: The theme of the year 2020 is sustainable consumption. The event based on this theme will be organized in the Autumn 2020. If you would like to get involved, please do not hesitate to contact Elli Laurinen (firstname.lastname@example.org) or by joining the Facebook group.
Group for 2250-resolution: Plans and executes the theme youth, peace and security. You may apply by contacting Toni Kuoremäki (email@example.com) and by joining the Facebook group. No separate application is required.
Group for Youth Peace Week: Plans and executes the Youth Peace Week project. During the week this work group organizes school visits and other activities around Finland, together with member associations and other partners. The week concludes in September with a panel discussion in Helsinki. You may apply by contacting either Marianne Koikkalainen (firstname.lastname@example.org) or Mariel Tähtivaara (email@example.com) and by joining the Facebook group. No separate application is required.
Group of the UN Day for the Youth and Students: The work group plans and organizes the event called “Suomen nuorten ja opiskelijoiden YK-päivät, the UN Day for the Youth and Students” that will be organized in Autumn 2020 together with the UN Association of Finland. The event includes different seminars, panel discussions and work shops. The idea is to make the United Nations more familiar to the youth. You are welcome to our team to make the event come true! You can join the work group simply sending an email to board of UN Youth (firstname.lastname@example.org).
