23.11.2016 “Youth must be genuinely involved as a partner in sustainable development“

A statement regarding Agenda 2030 the day before the parliament gathered to discuss its role as promoter of sustainable development. The statement was sent to those Members of Parliament who initiated the discussions, to the parliamentary groups and the media. The statement underlines the focus points in sustainable development that the youth stress as important and which arose from UN Youth’s Post2015 report. The key is youth’s participation in realizing these goals. The UN Youth calls for the resolution 2250 as a central tool in the work related to goal 16.
